Teach your children swimming, archery, and horse riding.
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)
Having spent more than 20 years on the pool deck, I can't say that I regret my career choice. Yes, teaching swimming can be messy, repetitive, and tiring. That early morning dip in cold water to teach swimming to a kid who doesn't want to swim can drain you before you even start your day. However, seeing that kid turn into a passionate swimmer reminds me why I still love my job.
I created this blog to share my experiences and perhaps build a community of like-minded people who enjoy sharing their stories too. If you're a swimmer, a coach, or just a curious visitor, I truly hope you will find yourself in the right place.
